Jay Nicolson vs Rico Morro

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at MSG Theater, New York City,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Nicolson (18(1) - 0) who hails from Irvine, USA and Rico Morro(15 - 3(1)) from Miami, USA.  Nicolson weighed in at 154 pounds, while Morro weighed in at 153 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Purcell, and the three ringside judges are Massimo Alemanno, Ellis Cammon and Chris Cavanaugh.
