Jay Fouche vs Gaston Benichou

Boxing Daily Report from the Offei Promotions promoted show at Dakar Farman, Dakar,  taking place on 03/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Senegal Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Fouche (16 - 0 - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Gaston Benichou(9(1) - 2 - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Fouche and Benichou weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boyce Perec, and the three ringside judges are Reinald Mbow, Gaston Angrand and Romain Ndong.
