Boxing Daily Report from the Sembene Promotions promoted show at Sana'a Baz, Sana'a,  taking place on 03/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yemen TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Umair Almasri (17 - 3) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Malik Asad(3 - 3 - 1) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Almasri weighed in at 122 pounds, while Asad weighed in at 121 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Hawi, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Khalaf, Aftab Azer and Faisal Radi.
