Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Raiden Okazaki (12 - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yuichi Nakayama(16(1) - 0) from Chiba, Japan.  Okazaki weighed in at 229 pounds And 4 ounces, while Nakayama weighed in at 230 pounds And 1 ounces.
