Ye Kook vs Jun Shieh

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ye Kook (15 - 4) who hails from Tianjin, China and Jun Shieh(14(1) - 4) from Changsha, China.  Both Kook and Shieh weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wu-pen Zeng, and the three ringside judges are Lao-Tzu Min, Jun Qi and Xi-Wang Sha.  

Round 1:
