Jerrold Moscoso vs Elias Mascarenas

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Monterrey Landin, Monterrey,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

Clearly Yeray Heras have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jerrold Moscoso (5 - 10 - 3) who hails from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico and Elias Mascarenas(5 - 12 - 2) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Moscoso weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mascarenas weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Benavente, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Fuertes, Onofre Medero and Emanuel Yanez.
