Mark Penney vs Isidro Picado

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium, Hamilton,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mark Penney (2(1) - 0) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Isidro Picado(6 - 8 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Penney and Picado weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Nickson, and the three ringside judges are Bellamy Batiste, Arnie Waddey and Nick Nicolson.
