Gethin Gaul vs Patrick Linsey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arkansas promoted show at Mark Cook Gym, Fayetteville,  taking place on 05/08/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Arkansas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Gaul (4 - 9) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Patrick Linsey(8 - 3) from Des Moines, USA.  Both Gaul and Linsey weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Kitchen, and the three ringside judges are David Phaup, David Phaup and Gethin Nethery.  

Round 1: 

Linsey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Linsey is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Gaul lands a cross.  
Linsey switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Gaul blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.
