Pancho Betances vs Jerrold Alfaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Estadio Osvaldo Casanova, Bahía Blanca,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Argentina Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on America Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pancho Betances (22 - 2(1)) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Jerrold Alfaro(17 - 6 - 1) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Both Betances and Alfaro weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Segura, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Hidalgo, Carlos Rayos and Dario Gonzalez.
