Rob Perry vs Fred Baines

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Olympia, Liverpool,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Central England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob The Assassin Perry (16(3) - 2) who hails from Manchester, UK and Fred Baines(16 - 5 - 1) from Sheffield, UK.  Both Perry and Baines weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Salam, and the three ringside judges are Ronald McCauley, Irfan Assaf and Stuart McCormick.  

Round 1: 

Perry feints a jab, fooling Baines into throwing a cross counter.  Perry avoids the shot and counters with a cross.
