Ellis Couch vs Sam MacIver

Boxing Daily Report from the Swolefrey promoted show at Aaron McGuinness Gym, Telford,  taking place on 06/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Couch (9 - 7 - 4) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Sam MacIver(8 - 5 - 2) from Liverpool, UK.  Couch weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces, while MacIver weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Ouimet, and the three ringside judges are Rodric Valentine, Angus Heriot and Max Smith.  

Round 1: 

Couch is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.
