Hugh Cookston vs Richie Russell

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Southampton Guildhall, Southampton,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Cookston (12 - 0) who hails from Reading, UK and Richie Russell(11 - 7 - 3) from Birmingham, UK.  Cookston weighed in at 234 pounds and 15 ounces, while Russell weighed in at 232 pounds.
