Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Montreal Bethune, Montreal,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Forrest Jean (9 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Sam Dowe(6 - 8 - 5) from Calgary, Canada.  Jean weighed in at 135 pounds, while Dowe weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Kopa, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Morton, Louis Gillespie and Jean-Baptiste Camus.  

Round 1: 

Dowe sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jean lands a right hook.  
Dowe pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.
