Paco Ortuno vs Jesus Largo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Gimnasio Municipal, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 31/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Central American Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paco La Mosquita Ortuno (14(1) - 2) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Jesus Largo(8 - 3) from San Miguelito, Panama.  Both Ortuno and Largo weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Orduna, and the three ringside judges are Gonzalo Enriquez, Vicente Mieras and Alejandro Sala.  

Round 1: 

Ortuno feints a jab, but Largo is not fooled and lands with a solid cross.  
Ortuno advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.
