Joey Saam vs Gonzalo Montemayor

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Memorial Civic Auditorium, Stockton,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Saam (11(8) - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Gonzalo Montemayor(14 - 6 - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Saam weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Montemayor weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Moreman, and the three ringside judges are John Gourley, David Madoc and Noah Rankin.
