Antonio Capetillo vs Francisco Banales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Lorenzo Robles Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 12/08/2026:

Clearly AI Puerto Rico-Ponce have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antonio Capetillo (10 - 0) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Francisco Banales(1 - 7 - 1) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Capetillo and Banales weighed in at 200 pounds.
