Leighton Platt vs John Sealy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at VIP Boxing Club, Gaineau,  taking place on 21/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Platt (8(1) - 0) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and John Sealy(11 - 7(3)) from Brampton, Canada.  Platt weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Sealy weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Sinjon Bellanger, Louis Gillespie and Stephen Morton.  

Round 1: 

Platt steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Sealy dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
