Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Brickhouse Boxing Club, Tallahassee,  taking place on 08/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ramirez Cuba (6 - 0) who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico and John Devlin(2 - 5 - 1) from El Paso, USA.  Both Cuba and Devlin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Kay, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Poyner, Rob Quigg and Brett Arthur.  

Round 1: 

Cuba gets on the inside.  Cuba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.
