Oscar Abrego vs Joey Yorath

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Santa Ana Blackshaw, Santa Ana,  taking place on 07/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Abrego (9 - 13 - 1) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Joey Yorath(14 - 5(1) - 1) from San Jose, USA.  Abrego weighed in at 242 pounds and 11 ounces, while Yorath weighed in at 238 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Eade, and the three ringside judges are Michael Rice, Lee Copland and Hayden Kemble.  

Round 1: 

Yorath closes the distance.  Abrego throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Yorath's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Yorath lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
