Algernon Obekop vs Mike Spotswood

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Algernon Obekop (5(1) - 0) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Mike Spotswood(4 - 16 - 1) from Toronto, Canada.  Obekop weighed in at 223 pounds and 1 ounces, while Spotswood weighed in at 236 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jean-Baptiste Camus, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Kopa, Bruce Hathorne and Aramis Duvauchelle.  

Round 1:
