Sumner Cohen vs Chevy Mellett

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sumner Cohen (11(1) - 0) who hails from Burnaby, Canada and Chevy Mellett(7 - 5 - 3) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Cohen and Mellett weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Kopa, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Aramis Duvauchelle and Jean-Baptiste Camus.
