Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Preece (10(1) - 0) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Russel Gayet(4(1) - 10 - 3) from Montreal, Canada.  Preece weighed in at 118 pounds, while Gayet weighed in at 117 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Duvauchelle, Jasper Kopa and Jean-Baptiste Camus.  

Round 1:
