Ricky Amberson vs Mark Devlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 11/08/2026:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Amberson (6 - 8 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mark Devlin(5 - 11(1) - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Amberson weighed in at 233 pounds and 4 ounces, while Devlin weighed in at 219 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Muncie, and the three ringside judges are Dave Sprouse, Jonathan Lockaby and Stephen Suite.
