Fidel Cara vs Jesus Capistran

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 02/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fidel Cara (29(27) - 1(1)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jesus Capistran(16(3) - 5(2) - 4) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Cara and Capistran weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cristiano Grimaldi, and the three ringside judges are Ellis Cammon, Enzo Pizzinato and Phil Graden.
