Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bulgaria-Sofia promoted show at Sofia Kaya, Sofia,  taking place on 15/07/2026:

Clearly AI Bulgaria-Sofia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bulgaria-Sofia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Veselin á Zhirinov (10 - 4 - 2) who hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and Luben á Merinov(7 - 0) from Sofia, Bulgaria.  Both Zhirinov and Merinov weighed in at 135 pounds.
