Kieran Ngilu vs Phornello Matonka

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kieran Ngilu (11 - 3) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Phornello Matonka(15 - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Ngilu and Matonka weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Badini, and the three ringside judges are Nwa Lugano, Joey Keino and Jay Matiku.
