Boxing Daily Report from the Chiona Promotions promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Szeto, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

Clearly Chiona Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Safi (9(4) - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Zuffur Toure(5 - 1 - 2) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Safi and Toure weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Haq, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Sabir, Obaid Ishmael and Danyaal Kharoti.  

Round 1: 

Safi lands a jab.

Toure gets on the inside and forces Safi to back into a corner.  Safi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Safi ties up his opponent.  Safi pushes his forearm into Toure's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Safi steps to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Safi lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Safi lands a cross.  
Safi connects with a sharp cross.  
Toure closes the distance.  Safi throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Safi holds on to his opponent.  Safi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Toure lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Safi finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Toure forces Safi to back into the ropes.  Safi lands a sharp jab.  
Safi steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Toure tries to land a cross, but Safi dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Toure closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Safi blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Toure's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Safi switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Toure quickly recovers. 
Safi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Toure is looking to close the distance.  Safi throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Safi clinches his opponent.  Safi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Safi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Safi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Toure digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Safi clinches his opponent.  Safi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Safi lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Safi is on target with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  TOURE IS HURT!  
Safi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Safi knows Toure is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Safi lands a right hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING TOURE TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Safi!
