Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Manley Field House, Syracuse,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Emanuel Gonzalez (12(3) - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Eduardo Matute(7 - 7 - 5) from Havana, Cuba.  Gonzalez weighed in at 200 pounds, while Matute weighed in at 199 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Daley, and the three ringside judges are Elias Linares, Cody Craighead and Tito Berlato.
