Kyo Jo vs Shinji Matsuo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Aichi Prefectural Martial Arts Center, Nagoya,  taking place on 07/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kyo Jo (4 - 0) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Shinji Matsuo(1 - 8 - 2) from Kawagoe, Japan.  Both Jo and Matsuo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Satow, and the three ringside judges are Hajime Miki, Michi Kawata and Hiro Hirabayashi.
