Glanville Virenque vs Connor Ariweriyai

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the African Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Glanville Virenque (15 - 5(5)) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Connor Ariweriyai(13(6) - 6(5) - 1(NC)) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Both Virenque and Ariweriyai weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Keino, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Badini, Nwa Lugano and Jay Matiku.
