Alano Pantaleon vs Alejandro Peno

Boxing Daily Report from the Lusungo Promotions promoted show at Ryo Renderos Gym, La Paz,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alano Pantaleon (10 - 3 - 7) who hails from La Paz, Bolivia and Alejandro Peno(16 - 5 - 1) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Pantaleon weighed in at 122 pounds, while Peno weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Pichon, and the three ringside judges are Montel Varon, Ricardo Tio and Luis Zendejas.  

Round 1: 

Pantaleon is looking to keep his distance.  Peno lands an overhand right.  
Peno advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Peno manouvers Pantaleon onto the ropes.  Peno sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Peno switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Peno steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Pantaleon sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Pantaleon gets on the inside.  Peno pivots to the side of his opponent.  Peno lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Peno holds on to his opponent.  Pantaleon leans on his opponent using all his weight. Peno throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Peno steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Pantaleon closes the distance.  Peno sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Peno attempts to land a right hook, but Pantaleon sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Peno hits home with an overhand left.  
Peno lands a straight 1 - 2.

Peno stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Pantaleon throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.
