Gethin Brydon vs Joe Tait

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Greenbank Sports Centre, Liverpool,  taking place on 13/08/2026:

Clearly AI UK-Central England have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Brydon (11 - 12 - 4) who hails from Coventry, UK and Joe Tait(14 - 8(1) - 2) from Liverpool, UK.  Brydon weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tait weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Bevans, and the three ringside judges are William McCorkel, Stuart McCormick and Matthew McReynolds.
