Dai Kawata vs Tim Ruddock

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Indigo at O2 Arena, London,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dai Kawata (17 - 0) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Tim Ruddock(7 - 8(1) - 2) from Liverpool, UK.  Kawata weighed in at 108 pounds, while Ruddock weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lee Wynne, and the three ringside judges are Rich MacGibbon, Ian Cameron and Paul McCowen.  

Round 1: 

Ruddock steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
