Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern Ireland promoted show at St Kevins Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

Clearly AI UK-Northern Ireland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David MacRae (10 - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Xebec Ionesco(7 - 5 - 3) from Rennes, France.  Both MacRae and Ionesco weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Gallagher, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Maguire, Paul Sheridan and David Hastie.
