Yu Shiau vs Manchu Ba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Hebei promoted show at Fo-hai Way Gym, Dingzhou,  taking place on 14/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Hebei Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yu Shiau (11 - 6 - 4) who hails from Dingzhou, China and Manchu Ba(7 - 2) from Tangshan, China.  Both Shiau and Ba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hui-chao Weng, and the three ringside judges are Xing-fu Chao, Woo Yip and Yuan Ling.  

Round 1: 

Shiau advances into close range.  Shiau pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Ba's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ba dabs at his face checking for damage.
