Evert Schares vs Meril Aegerter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Berlin promoted show at Klaus Kuenzel Gym, Berlin,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

Clearly AI Germany-Berlin have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Berlin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evert Schares (7 - 11 - 3) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Meril Aegerter(8 - 10 - 2) from Berlin, Germany.  Schares weighed in at 154 pounds, while Aegerter weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Maynard Gelsinger, and the three ringside judges are Leopoldo Masching, Wilburn Stoop and Udolf Jenni.
