Amer Basha vs Atif Taha

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Adliyye Stadium, Baku,  taking place on 19/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the West Asian Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AZTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Basha (22(1) - 0) who hails from Ganja, Azerbaijan and Atif Taha(19(10) - 4(1)) from Al Hudaydah, Yemen.  Both Basha and Taha weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asgar Aslanov, and the three ringside judges are Urfan Abaskuliyev, Malik Shabazz and Fazail Babayev.
