Giomar Gessel vs Waldemar Stross

Boxing Daily Report from the Die Ring-Generäle promoted show at Koelnmesse, Cologne,  taking place on 29/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are German Giomar Gessel (18 - 11) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Waldemar Stross(7 - 0) from Munich, Germany.  Gessel weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Stross weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Werner Arn, and the three ringside judges are Erchanbold Schager, Dieter Scheideman and Kuno Laas.
