Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Kashiwa Takahashi, Kashiwa,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Chiba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave McTavish (1 - 0) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Kei Ota(1 - 0) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both McTavish and Ota weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Sakaguchi, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Kaba, Taro Sugawara and Akira Kamei.
