Malik Jama vs Ahmed Rassi

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikane Promotions promoted show at Asif Moustafa Gym, Giza,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

Clearly Chikane Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Jama (11 - 7 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Ahmed Rassi(7 - 11 - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Jama weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Rassi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Kemsit, and the three ringside judges are Amjad El-Badawi, Azam Labib and Abdul El-Sayed.  

Round 1: 

Rassi closes the distance.  As Jama tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rassi dabs at his face checking for damage.

Jama advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.
