Nemesio Canto vs Carlos Trueba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Maracay Tejada, Maracay,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Canto (15 - 7) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Carlos Trueba(15 - 0 - 1) from Turmero, Venezuela.  Both Canto and Trueba weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Rafael, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Banda, Nicandro Prado and Alejandro Laurel.
