Ciaran Calvert vs Bryan McPhetridge

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Leinster Hall, Dundalk,  taking place on 17/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ciaran Calvert (14 - 6) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Bryan McPhetridge(10 - 11(1) - 2) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Calvert weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while McPhetridge weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon McPeters, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Carroll, Thomas Burke and Lorcan Coleman.
