Kalervo Tokoi vs Julius Teravainen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Pirkanmaa promoted show at Tampere Peura, Tampere,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Pirkanmaa Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalervo Tokoi (7 - 13(3) - 1) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Julius Teravainen(7(1) - 1) from Tampere, Finland.  Tokoi weighed in at 168 pounds, while Teravainen weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aarre Aromaa, and the three ringside judges are Elmer Ihamaki, Salomo Wirta and Aleksanteri Saari.
