Gianfranco Giunti vs Pepe Barzagli

Boxing Daily Report from the Dewornu Promotions promoted show at Milan Ogbonna, Milan,  taking place on 31/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Italy-Lombardy Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianfranco Giunti (15 - 1(1)) who hails from Monza, Italy and Pepe Barzagli(6 - 9 - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Giunti weighed in at 126 pounds, while Barzagli weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fabrizio De Franco, and the three ringside judges are Valerio Cuffaro, Massimo Verratti and Bernardo Armani.
