Aaron Dotse vs Ali Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Dotse (7 - 1 - 3) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Ali Akbar(15 - 5 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Dotse weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Akbar weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Acquah, and the three ringside judges are Kabonesa Dumashie, Connor Salifu and Andy Salawu.  

Round 1:
