Hassan Bashara vs Jay Danquah

Boxing Daily Report from the Quansah Promotions promoted show at Accra Zakari, Accra,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hassan Bashara (12 - 7 - 4) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Jay Danquah(14 - 4 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Bashara weighed in at 121 pounds And 11 ounces, while Danquah weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Usi Boakye, and the three ringside judges are Malik Hussain, Usi Boakye and Brad Boakye.  

Round 1: 

Danquah switches the action to the outside.  Bashara hits home with a cross.
