Farhan Barakat vs Duncan Awere

Boxing Daily Report from the Quansah Promotions promoted show at Accra Zakari, Accra,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Barakat (10 - 6 - 4) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Duncan Awere(9 - 1) from Achiaman, Ghana.  Barakat weighed in at 200 pounds, while Awere weighed in at 199 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Usi Boakye, and the three ringside judges are Malik Hussain, Usi Boakye and Brad Boakye.  

Round 1:
