Ryuu Kimoto vs Aoi Imai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Jiro Oshiro Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 23/07/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hiroshima have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Kimoto (13 - 8 - 4) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Aoi Imai(9 - 16 - 2) from Fukuyama, Japan.  Both Kimoto and Imai weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Jun Hironaka, Iwao Sando and Satoru Fukuda.

Kimoto tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.
