Gareth Drennan vs Johnny Mutumbami

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 01/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Drennan (17(3) - 2(1)) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Johnny Mutumbami(16 - 6(4) - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Drennan weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mutumbami weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Moreman, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Kinnon, Zuffur Sylla and Michael Rice.
