Hikaru Hayashi vs Taro Nagao

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Yasutake, Tokyo,  taking place on 21/08/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Tokyo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hikaru Hayashi (6 - 0) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Taro Nagao(2 - 4 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Hayashi weighed in at 118 pounds, while Nagao weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Ishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Amaya, Jiro Fukumoto and Kazuhiko Ide.
